as a child saturdays were glorious! cartoons! saturday morning cartoons came in fairly clear on our 4 channel tv. there was one about chipmunks another about ducks and probably one about another animal with human qualities. this was what I looked forward to.
today's saturdays are a bit different. being a bonafide 'home owner' means precious saturday mornings are spent cleaning! no cartoons, no chipmunks. but, it's not that bad. I blast my music and usually enjoy the process of turning messy house to clean home. it a strangely satisfying time. we'll see how I feel in 1 year. :-) funny how derek seems to always be working on saturday?
