More Christmas

This morning Jack asked me where baby Jesus went.  I had put away our Nativity scene a week ago, so I tried to explain to him that I had put Jesus away because it wasn't Christmas anymore.  But, then I stopped. Um, did I really just tell my son that I 'put Jesus away'?  I proceeded to tell Jack how I did in fact put the baby Jesus figurine away, but that we should never put the 'real, Son of God, Jesus' away.  We always want the real Jesus around.  Let me tell you, this was a complex conversation for a 22 month old.  It was complex for me too, an almost 360 month old.

I was laughing so hard from all of the other gifts... toilet paper, a car magazine, a coat hanger... that I just about cried when I opened the iPad.  Derek is the best!
